Journal Page Creations -- Day 117: ImpactI moved out to California one month after the Loma Prieta earthquake, in November 1989. I remember on October 19th standing in my living room in Boston and watching the news coverage of the earthquake's impact. Needless to say I was questioning the sanity of my move. But really, nothing could shake my resolve, not even the threat of future ground-shaking, earth-splitting natural disasters. I had heard the call of the Siren, that foot-stomping dancing beauty, and I was California bound come hell or highwater!
yep S.F. has been hit hard w/earthquakes... but we had the 1994 northridge one.. not so great either... we survived it.. and learned a lot from it as well
