Seems like there are a lot of pretty chairs out there -- and there is just something about them that I find pleasing. They provide a myriad of promises -- social mingling, forced attention, hopeful expectation, disappointment and sorrow, comfort and nurturing. If only I could sit still in one longer than 5 minutes!
