I loved the feeling of these three -- their colors, the energy of their triad and that they were obviously Russian -- maybe Georgian -- I don't know. Her hand rests on his waistband and she has a book tucked under her arm. I wonder what the title says? And they wander across a desert, in front of stormy skies and/or is it pounding sea? Mystery is larger than life.

Very cool painting. Probably Georgian. The people are, and the style is. Ever see Petrov-Vodkin's boys on a horse? Same horse more or less. Beautiful.
