Definitely!... I remember when I had long hair and someone had told me how my hair had that 'flaxen' look to it.... that word made me think of a horse's mane.... don't ask me why but it did!.
I've had my hair short only twice in my adult life. I didn't really like it -- but it definitely was easier to take care of! LOL! One day, I'll probably cut this mane, but it's going to be spiky and silver gray when I do!
